Established in 1945, Ashley specialized in mostly table making for 25 years. Around 1970 the owner decided to expand the company offerings by buying Arcadia furniture. With just 35 employees in a warehouse in Wisconsin, this family owned business set out to be a worldwide household name. It didnt take long to complete. Now a mere 45 years later, Ashley is THE go to furniture manufacturer with thousands of employees. Retailed in 123 countries, we’d say they reached their goal of being one of the best. Still family owned and operated, its a big company with the quality control of a smaller operation. Each piece still gets the individual attention to make sure that it something that is built to last for generations.
